GRADUATE CERTIFICATE STUDENTS
The first ISIS Graduate Certificate holder is Patrick Jagoda.
Patrick Jagoda received his Ph.D. from the Department of English and
a graduate certificate in Information Science and Information Studies
in May 2010. His dissertation, “Network Aesthetics: American Fictions
in the Culture of Interconnection,” analyzes contemporary networks as
metaphors and material systems. Patrick is currently a Mellon
Postdoctoral Fellow of New Media in the English department at the
University of Chicago where he teaches courses on virtual worlds, new
media theory, digital storytelling, and videogame studies.
