The mission of the Duke Online Discourse Project is to create a full research program on the subject of online discourse. The Duke Online Discourse project will host a series of talks, design and commission research projects, and produce a text on the subject of online discourse. Its members and board of advisors number among some of the most influential thinkers in the field. These participants span a wide array of fields, disciplines, and pursuits, from influential corporate leaders to legal scholars, historians, economists, computer scientists, ethicists, political scientists and student leaders.
